Why This Role is Exciting

As our DevOps Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in building and maintaining scalable, reliable infrastructure. You’ll drive automation, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to security and performance — all of which support our mission to redefine travel gifting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage cloud infrastructure and optimize associated costs

  • Administer databases (backups, replication, tuning)

  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines

  • Monitor system and application health

  • Manage message queues like RabbitMQ or Redis

  • Containerize and orchestrate apps (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Integrate security into development (SAST, DAST, secrets management)

  • Work with developers on infrastructure and deployment needs

  • Define infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

  • Use observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)

  • Conduct threat modeling and security audits

  • Lead security best practices (IAM, TLS, WAF, etc.)

  • Mentor team members and advocate for DevOps best practices

You Bring

  • Residency in Greece

  • Solid experience with AWS and infrastructure automation

  • Strong knowledge of cloud security and compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST)

  • Experience with secrets management tools like Vault or AWS Secrets Manager

  • Familiarity with secure development principles and zero trust architecture

  • Proficiency in English

This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position based in Athens, with an immediate start.
