Role Summary
The DevOps Manager will oversee a team of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineers (SREs), working closely with infrastructure, development, and security teams to define and support CI/CD and Azure cloud DevOps processes. This role plays a key part in building automation, enhancing monitoring systems, and ensuring optimal performance for development teams.
Key Responsibilities

Manage internal tools and infrastructure to automate workflows and streamline development.

Partner with Agile teams to discover and implement DevOps opportunities.

Lead the setup and optimization of observability tools like Datadog for all digital channels (site, mobile app, stores, and OpenShift backend services).

Configure and manage integrations between GitLab CI/CD and Azure, along with tools like Nexus, Datadog, HashiCorp Vault, SonarQube, and others.

Drive GitOps implementation using ArgoCD for backend services on Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO).

Oversee RedHat ServiceMesh implementation for ARO services.

Support Azure API Management configurations.

Monitor Azure deployments and system performance.

Manage tools and environments that support digital operations.

Oversee deployment pipelines and ensure reliability across environments.

Work with IT Security to automate security and compliance processes.
-
Collaborate with Agile teams to align configuration needs with release cycles.
-
Mentor DevOps engineers and help present technical solutions to team members.
-
Stay updated on emerging tools and best practices in DevOps.

Lead integrity and reliability testing of systems.
-
Participate in on-call rotations to support site stability.
Requirements
-
7+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles, directly supporting software development.
-
Expertise in cloud platforms, preferably Azure and OpenShift, including API management, GraphQL, load balancers, and container registries.

Proficient in scripting (Python, Groovy, Shell, PowerShell).

Skilled in CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible.

Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.

Knowledge of build tools for React.js, Node.js, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

Experience with Ansible, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code.

At least 5 years managing DevOps or infrastructure teams with proven leadership success.

Salary: $130,000–$155,000 + Bonus
