About the Role
Are you excited about leading DevOps initiatives in a rapidly growing software company? Dalux is looking for someone to join our Developer Enablement team to help us enhance our developer experience and productivity during this exciting scale-up phase.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As part of the Developer Enablement team, you’ll focus on improving our CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure, as well as promoting DevOps best practices across the organization. Your contributions will have a direct impact on developer efficiency and the overall engineering culture at Dalux.
Key responsibilities include:
-
Proactively enhancing development workflows by introducing and implementing new ideas to support developer needs
-
Collaborating with teammates to refine requirements and shape architectural and technical solutions
-
Providing guidance and training to developers using the platforms we support
-
Releasing and maintaining internal tools and components as necessary
-
Conducting research and prototyping to uncover opportunities for technical improvement
Our Tech Stack
We work with tools and technologies such as:
-
Jenkins (including Pipelines and JCasC)
-
Self-hosted GitLab and Nexus
-
Docker and Hyper-V
-
Prometheus, Thanos, and Grafana for monitoring
-
MSBuild, NPM (pnpm and Vite)
-
AWS services (EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, CloudFormation, S3, etc.)
Our goal is to maintain reliable, repeatable, and highly automated build systems defined as code. These pipelines support a range of development teams working on mobile, web, image processing, and backend services. Jenkins handles our build and test automation, and we use GitLab for source control across both Linux and Windows environments.
Dalux is scaling quickly, which brings a dynamic, fast-paced environment. However, this also means that our DevOps capabilities are still catching up to where we want them to be.
To support this, we have a strong DevOps guild that collaborates across teams to establish and share best practices. We follow a pragmatic agile development process with frequent releases and a results-oriented approach to DevOps—once something proves its value, we adopt it quickly.
What We’re Looking For
You should have a background in software engineering. You may already have experience leading DevOps transformations and see it as your key strength—or perhaps you’re newer to DevOps but eager to deepen your expertise. We’re open to both profiles.
Why Join Dalux?
At Dalux, engineers are at the core of what we do—nearly half of our team works in development. You’ll be joining a highly skilled, passionate group that’s driven to explore new technologies and improve existing ones. We maintain a flat organizational structure, allowing ideas to quickly turn into action. We value open communication, employee autonomy, and supporting individual working styles.
