Role Overview

Svitla Systems Inc. is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer for a full-time position in the USA. The client is a major global hotel chain headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, operating over 8,000 properties in 138 countries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field (or equivalent experience/certification).

• 4+ years working with React and TypeScript; strong HTML5/CSS3 skills.

• 2+ years backend development with SQL/NoSQL databases.

• 3+ years of CI/CD pipeline experience using Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness, Helm.

• 2+ years of cloud infrastructure automation with AWS using Ansible, Python, or Terraform.

• DevOps culture experience, Git workflows, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous programming.

• Skilled in Linux management and Agile methodologies.

• Strong communication and documentation abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement network automation using Python, Ansible, and related tools.

• Collaborate in Agile teams to deliver enterprise-grade DevOps solutions.

• Research and propose new network automation practices and tools.

• Develop test plans, deployment strategies, and project documentation.

• Participate in technical decision-making, vendor evaluations, and process improvement.
