About the Role
Must is seeking a dedicated and skilled DevOps Engineer with a focus on automation to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on the private cloud infrastructure, support Kubernetes clusters, and contribute to a variety of projects aimed at securing and enhancing Sweden’s defense capabilities. The role will involve working on legacy systems and implementing modern cloud-based infrastructure solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and automate cloud infrastructure for internal services.
- Administer and manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Help develop and maintain services and systems supporting automation and cloud deployment.
- Participate in the development and improvement of the Kubernetes platform.
- Collaborate with various teams to enhance system reliability and scalability.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
- Troubleshoot, perform system upgrades, and contribute to security implementations.
- Support and maintain services such as VPN, SSO, and internal tools.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Solid understanding of technical infrastructure and deep expertise in Linux systems.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes platforms (OpenShift, Rancher, or similar).
- Proficient with automation and configuration tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
- Strong understanding of GitOps processes and tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, specifically AWS, and network knowledge (DNS, TCP/IP).
- Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with public cloud services like AWS or similar.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
- Understanding of networking protocols and hardware configurations.
- Experience working in defense or government sectors is a plus.
