About the Role

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will work on real-world projects utilizing modern technologies to build scalable, high-quality infrastructure. This role involves working with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, designing microservices using Kubernetes, and contributing to the evolution of product direction and quality. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and the proactive adoption of innovative technologies is key to this position.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Teams: Translate business requirements into scalable software solutions, ensuring high quality and performance.
  • Cloud Integration: Utilize Azure and AWS to manage cloud resources efficiently, ensuring scalability, security, and flexibility.
  • Microservices Design: Build microservices using Kubernetes for high availability and resilience.
  • Automation: Develop infrastructure as code to automate and manage cloud resources.
  • Agile Participation: Engage in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to team alignment and goal delivery.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about new technologies and development practices, proactively sharing ideas for improvements.
  • Testing and Debugging: Ensure quality through testing, debugging, and attention to detail.
  • Independent Management: Manage complex tasks independently while collaborating with the team on shared features and architecture.
  • Documentation and Communication: Contribute to documentation, test planning, and technical discussions. Communicate progress regularly and participate in planning sessions.
  • Performance Testing: Prepare and execute load testing and chaos management, defining test scenarios to ensure system stability.

Required Skills

  • Cloud Platforms: 3+ years of practical experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • CI/CD Tools: 2+ years of experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Gitlab CI/CD, or similar.
  • Automation Scripting: 2+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Python or Go.
  • Kubernetes: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Agile: Familiar with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills, proactive in identifying and solving problems.
  • Communication: Clear communication skills to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in security, scalability, and cost management within cloud computing environments.
  • Previous exposure to load testing and chaos engineering practices.
