About the Role

The DevOps Engineer will focus on automating upgrade processes, ensuring seamless software deployments, and supporting cloud migration initiatives. The role collaborates with development, QA, and operations teams to build reliable automation frameworks, enhance system stability, and continuously optimize infrastructure processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
  • Ensure reproducible and consistent infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS, maintaining scalable and automated processes.
  • Set up proactive alerts to detect and resolve potential issues before production impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and accelerate issue resolution.
  • Manage infrastructure security and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Respond to incidents promptly and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Contribute to Agile sprints by delivering improvements to deployment and infrastructure workflows.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging DevOps tools and technologies to enhance development cycles.
  • Maintain and optimize existing builds and deployment solutions.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Octopus Deploy.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell and Bash.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Understanding of DevOps best practices for automation, monitoring, and observability.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex deployment and infrastructure issues.
  • Prior experience supporting software upgrades and migrations in enterprise environments.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working in distributed or cross-functional teams.
