About the Role
Everi is hiring a DevOps Engineer to join the Digital Department at its Gaming Headquarters in Austin, Texas (with remote flexibility). This role focuses on building and automating development, testing, and UAT environments, as well as implementing CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and operational monitoring. The position is suited for a collaborative engineer who thrives on problem-solving, automation, and advancing DevOps best practices.
Responsibilities
- Architect, automate, and manage development, testing, and UAT environments
- Implement solutions for configuration management, CI/CD, build automation, and monitoring
- Collaborate with internal and third-party teams to ensure secure and reliable releases
- Audit, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across test and production environments
- Create internal documentation, scripts, and tools for automation processes
- Monitor daily operations using logging and reporting services
- Research new technologies and promote DevOps best practices across teams
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming (C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance
- Experience with automation, reusable coding, and object-oriented design principles
- Familiarity with design patterns and system architecture concepts
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting
- Experience with Kubernetes and microservices architectures
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub Actions, or Azure Pipelines
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services
