About the Role
As a DevOps Engineer within the Professional Services team, the role focuses on bridging software development and infrastructure delivery for enterprise clients. The role involves architecting resilient cloud-native environments, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and driving automation solutions. Aimed at scaling customer success, the role offers an exciting opportunity for technical experts to work in a collaborative environment, continuously improve systems, and contribute to the growth of Altium 365.
Responsibilities
- Build and optimize CI/CD processes for efficient server provisioning and application deployment.
- Develop scalable, resilient cloud-native service infrastructure across multiple regions.
- Deploy, monitor, and scale application services to maintain high availability.
- Collaborate closely with software development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment.
- Plan and document work and projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Mentor team members, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Participate in strategic planning and project management efforts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues with cross-functional teams.
- Join the on-call rotation for incident management and continuous system availability.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure components, especially AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Route53, network appliances).
- Expertise in Linux and Windows system administration.
- Strong background in cloud networking (VPC peering, subnets, security groups).
- Proficient in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience in cloud data security and adherence to industry standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize system performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified (DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar).
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and domain management.
- Familiarity with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Background in backend programming or infrastructure as code practices.
