About the Role

The DevOps Engineer II will join a dynamic team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient DevOps infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and performance, with a key focus on AWS cloud infrastructure, configuration management, and automation tools.

Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, and Terragrunt. Implement automation and configuration management with Puppet.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines, integrating CI/CD best practices into workflows.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Set up and manage Grafana and Prometheus for system monitoring. Identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
  • Scripting and Automation: Write Shell and Python scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to integrate systems, provide guidance, and share knowledge with junior members.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps roles.
  • Strong proficiency with AWS, Terraform, and Terragrunt.
  • Hands-on experience with Puppet for configuration management.
  • Expertise in Jenkins and Git for CI/CD and version control.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux systems, Shell scripting, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with Grafana for monitoring system performance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with CloudFormation and Packer.
  • Experience with Python for automation.
  • Knowledge of Prometheus for monitoring.
  • Experience in managing Postgres and MySQL databases.
