About the Role
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for administering servers, network infrastructure, and databases while ensuring the smooth deployment and operation of services. This role focuses on maintaining PCI compliance, automating tasks, supporting developers, and resolving technical issues to improve the overall customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Administer servers, network infrastructure, and databases for development and deployment.
- Ensure effective provisioning, installation/configuration, and maintenance of services and system software.
- Maintain PCI compliance and adhere to organizational policies regarding systems and software.
- Implement integrations and provide support to developers.
- Deploy updates, fixes, and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production errors.
- Develop scripts to automate tasks and infrastructure.
- Perform additional projects as assigned by management.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field.
- 3+ years of DevOps experience in an enterprise environment.
- 3+ years of experience in AWS deployment operations.
- Expertise in managing Windows and Linux/Ubuntu environments.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Docker or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Source Code Management (e.g., Git).
- Experience with systems monitoring software.
- Experience with automation/integration tools such as Jenkins.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with additional cloud platforms or containerization technologies.
- Experience with scaling infrastructure for high availability.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.
