About the Role

Ezee Fiber is looking for a motivated and talented entry-level DevOps Engineer to join its team. This position offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment where you will support the administration of both Windows and Linux server systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in server systems installation and administration, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team while focusing on systems management.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, resolving issues efficiently.
Build, deploy, and manage diverse operating and software systems including Windows Server, Linux Server, BIND, ISC KEA, DHCP, IIS, Apache, and Enterprise monitoring systems.
Monitor systems and take corrective actions as needed to ensure optimal performance.
Create and update technical documentation to improve internal procedures and knowledge.
Perform additional duties as required to support the team.

Required Skills

Minimum 3 years’ experience managing Windows and Linux server environments.
Proficiency in system server scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Perl).
Strong experience in Windows Server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, etc.).
Extensive experience in Linux system administration (command line, system services, package management).
Knowledge of backend database systems, including PostgreSQL and MS SQL.
Familiarity with Dell and HP server hardware management.
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
Excellent critical thinking skills and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus.
Familiarity with enterprise monitoring systems (e.g., SolarWinds, Obserium).
Understanding of system integration and operation for various technologies.
