Job Description
Oversee all aspects of DevOps including development, QA, automation, and culture
Assist team members with building, hosting, and deploying cloud-based applications
Collaborate with team members to define architecture and optimize performance
Oversee migration of remaining internally-hosted applications to AWS
Lead technical evaluation of new technologies and tools
Serve as a liaison between DevOps teams, senior leadership team, and vendors
Build a culture of learning where it’s safe to fail, fail fast, learn from it, and improve
Qualifications
BS or MS in Computer Science or related field and 10+ years experience
Extensive experience of Linux administration, configuration, and troubleshooting
Strong programming ability in at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby, etc)
5+ years experience with a major orchestration technology (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc)
3+ years experience with Amazon Web Services
Strong faith in Jesus Christ
