About the Role
HiLabs is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to manage and scale cloud infrastructure in AWS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform. This role involves cloud infrastructure management, automation, CI/CD pipeline management, and security monitoring to ensure robust and scalable systems for HiLabs’ mission-critical applications.
Responsibilities
- Manage and provision AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, etc.).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments to ensure seamless application delivery.
- Automate code delivery pipelines for efficient deployments, rollbacks, and builds.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure security by implementing IAM roles, security groups, and VPC configurations.
- Set up monitoring solutions using AWS CloudWatch and ELK Stack for performance optimization.
- Collaborate with software engineers, QA, and other teams to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Lead DevOps and security solution initiatives from design to deployment in production environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Required Skills
- 3-7 years of experience in DevOps, cloud architecture, and AWS infrastructure management.
- Proven experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, CloudFront, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and CloudFormation for IaC management.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
- Experience with cloud security principles, including IAM roles, security groups, and VPC configurations.
- Familiarity with AWS monitoring and performance tuning (EC2, RDS, S3).
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases like RDS and DynamoDB.
- Knowledge of Linux systems administration and application server technologies (Apache, Nginx).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure and multi-cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with DevOps tools like Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring solutions like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Background in the healthcare industry or SaaS platforms.
