About the Role
LiveRamp is looking for a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to support and scale cloud infrastructure while ensuring the reliability and security of the platform. This is a pivotal role where you will be directly responsible for developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, maintaining cloud-based infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Snowflake, and working closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud engineering, automation, and infrastructure management to help drive the seamless delivery of data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based services across AWS and GCP, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- CI/CD Pipeline Development: Create and optimize continuous integration and deployment pipelines to streamline software delivery and enhance operational efficiency.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, data science, and QA teams to provide DevOps support and facilitate continuous improvement.
- Automation: Implement infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation to improve deployment workflows.
- Security and Compliance: Enforce best practices for security, authentication, and compliance across cloud services.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance and implement optimizations for availability, cost, and resource efficiency.
- Incident Management: Lead incident response efforts, performing root cause analysis and ensuring system uptime.
Required Skills
- Cloud Expertise: Extensive experience with AWS services, including IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, and cloud security best practices.
- CI/CD & Automation: Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Spinnaker, ArgoCD) and infrastructure automation using Terraform or similar tools.
- Scripting: Strong experience in scripting languages (Bash, Python) for automation and workflow management.
- Containerization: Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes in cloud-native environments.
- Server Management: Expertise in Linux and Windows server administration, with experience managing cloud databases.
- Version Control: Proficiency with version control systems like GitLab, GitHub.
- System Monitoring: Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare or Clinical Research Exposure: Experience in environments related to healthcare or clinical research is a plus.
- Mentorship: Experience guiding or mentoring junior engineers.
- Continuous Learning: A commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and tools in DevOps and cloud engineering.
